The Ordshaw Vignettes eBook and Other News

Following the release of The Violent Fae and the completion of The Sunken City trilogy I’m all systems go with Ordshaw – I’ve got a new eBook release (available free, no less), along with some big news. After the vignettes blog tour, I quickly spun the 12 stories into an eBook and put a cover together. Lynn over at Lynn’s Books has been kind enough to do a cover reveal, and The Ordshaw Vignettes Vol. 1 is out for general release on Amazon today. But I’m offering everyone in my reading group a copy of the book absolutely free – so if you want it, swing on over to the newsletter here.

If you’ve already read all the stories, please consider leaving a short review on Amazon here.

But that’s not all! The next big news, for completists and those yet to dive fully into Ordshaw: the complete Sunken City Trilogy is coming soon as an omnibus edition. That’s Under Ordshaw, Blue Angel and The Violent Fae combined in one fat book (with another new cover that I think will turn some heads). The Sunken City Trilogy will be released as a collection on December 3rd, just in time for Christmas – and I’ll be doing a cover reveal for that with Justine over on the Whispers and Wonder blog, next week. To make things extra exciting, Justine will soon be hosting a giveaway contest on Twitter for one lucky soul to get a copy of the book. (Follow me on Twitter to keep abreast of it!)
And, the best for last: I’m thrilled to announce that the Ordshaw series is coming to audio, and production on Under Ordshaw is well underway. I’m working with Francesca Burgoyne, a fantastic actress who is really bringing the story to life. For a time I’d considered attempting it myself and I’m so glad I didn’t, because Francesca is nailing every character and I can’t wait to share the results – it’s like listening to a radio play! We’re aiming for completion around Christmas, but no set release date yet, as it’s better to get it right than rush. I’ll keep you posted. Oh and one final titbit: I’m also preparing a non-fiction release for December, an English tenses exercise book for foreign learners. A whole other kettle of fish but it *does* contain some sneaky Ordshaw references…
